History

Lucchese Insurance Agency was established in 1997 by two brothers, Mario and Dante Lucchese.

The two brothers started their operation working out of Mario’s home. Since then, the agency supports over 600 commercial clients and has eleven full-time employees.

Mario and Dante have deep roots in the business community. Their family has owned and operated Lucchese Delicatessen in Sun Valley since 1959. Being a part of the retail industry within the community has earned the Lucchese brothers the respect of local business owners throughout the San Fernando Valley.

The Lucchese Family gives back to the community through such service organizations as the Jeopardy Foundation, the Sun Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Economic Development Center, and local police and fire departments.

In March, 2006, Dante Lucchese (a current member of the Chamber of Commerce) and Lucchese Insurance Agency were delighted to be voted “Small Business of the Year” by the Chamber of Commerce board members, Michael Antonovich, Senator Alarcon and City Council members.

In January, 2007, Lucchese Insurance Agency was honored to accept the “Outstanding Small Business” award from the California State Senate, California State Assembly and United Chambers of Commerce for exceptional service and commitment in the San Fernando Valley.
